The key focus of the training to be conducted by Fokabs will be to strengthen the capacity of selected stakeholders in using, formulating, designing, and supporting the effective implementation of digitalization in agriculture frameworks and digital climate advisory services (DCAS) tools and programs that can improve climate resilience and farmers’ productivity, within their respective domains or areas of work, at national and sub-national levels.
The objectives of the training are:
- Capacity enhancement for agricultural stakeholders across Central Africa on digital climate advisory services (DCAS).
- Supporting trainees to improve their confidence and capacity to design and implement DCAS projects to reach the last mile and farmers for improved food security and climate resilience.
- Facilitating knowledge/experience sharing of participants on contextual issues and approaches to scaleup of DCAS.
