As part of its activities, Fokabs is looking for a full stack web application developer to participate in the development of applications that can impact climate change.

Duties/Responsibilities.

• Participate in the technical design of the functionalities and the development of an e-commerce platform
• Administer the development environment and the platform implementation.
• Set up a test and validation environment in an Agile logic
• Collaborate effectively with project development teams.

Required skills and abilities:

• Proven knowledge of web development
• Be sensitive to the quality of your product code
• Be autonomous and rigorous with excellent attention to
• A very good command of PHP
• A solid knowledge of the Laravel Framework
• Mastery of Javascript (Jquery)
• Analyze a need and model a feature or a fix
• Write unit tests and ensure maintenance
• Know how to manage your time efficiently to meet the daily requirements (dev, support, debugging, etc.) while reserving the time needed for the thoughtful development of new features.
• Good knowledge of CSS integration
• Mastery of a major front-end framework (React, Vue, etc.) would be an asset.

We operate in an agile mode, with very rapid and frequent releases.

Education:

• You must have at least 2 years of higher education in computer science, with an option for application development, or an equivalent degree.
• A postgraduate degree in a related field is an asset.

Duty station: Yaoundé, Cameroon
