At the EduBIM Conference at Gustave Eiffel University, we led a workshop on the transformative power of digital technologies in building climate-resilient cities. The session explored the pivotal role of Building Information Modelling (BIM), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Smart Technologies in advancing urban sustainability, adaptive infrastructure, and efficient resource management.

Through case studies and interactive discussions, academics and researchers gained valuable insights into how digital tools can optimize urban planning, mitigate climate risks, and enhance decision-making for resilient city development. The workshop also highlighted key research opportunities, guiding participants in identifying niche areas such as AI-driven climate modeling, digital twins for urban resilience, and BIM for low-carbon construction.

The session concluded with discussions on practical strategies for integrating digital innovations into urban sustainability research and policymaking. Additionally, it underscored the growing demand for expertise in digital technologies for climate resilience, reinforcing the crucial role of academia in shaping the future of sustainable cities.
