WE ARE HIRING: Natural Resource Management Analyst (Intern)

We are currently seeking a Natural Resource Management Analyst (Intern) to work across several projects on natural resources and climate change. The intern will support project development and implementation at the local, national, international levels.

Duties and responsibilities

• Support the preparation of tenders across different thematic areas related to natural resource management and the environment;
• Support project implementation – (pre) feasibility, literature review, data collection/stakeholder consultations, reporting, etc
• Perform and synthesize quantitative and qualitative;
• Work closely with technical team on client-specific needs and projects;

Qualifications

The applicant must meet the following minimum professional qualifications to be considered for the position:

• A Master’s degree in Natural resource management, forestry, environment, development, geography, or any other relevant fields;
• Excellent verbal and written command of French or English;
• Willingness to travel and on short notice;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
• Willing to work in difficult field conditions;
• Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks;
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment;
• Capacity to lead/participate in scientific publication (asset);
• Have a good knowledge of the Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
