The African Climate Policy Center (ACPC) of the United Nations supports the Africa Group of Negotiators in taking stock of a two-decade journey in the UNFCCC global negotiations in how much gains made or losses incurred in a pursuit of its priorities in reducing climate risks and vulnerability in adaptation, recalibrating the way forward. Experts from FOKABS, in collaboration with other partners, conducted a comprehensive analysis of all the aspects of the UNFCCC negotiations and prepared key policy documents tailored to provide a good understanding of what is at stake emerging from a historical analysis, in redefining Africa’s interests and future participation in the UNFCCC conference of Parties (COP).
